I am a trauma-informed, person-centred counsellor with lived experience. I'm dedicated to supporting individuals on their journey to healing and well-being. I believe in the power of empathy, compassion, and a safe therapeutic space to facilitate growth and self-discovery. My own experiences have given me a unique understanding of the challenges many face, and I bring this empathy to my work.
I've completed 4 1/2 years of in-depth training, culminating in a level 4 Diploma in Therapeutic Studies, alongside Level 3 in counselling studies, level 2 in counselling skills and level 2 introduction to counselling. I'm also trained in Trauma Stabilization. This comprehensive training, combined with my lived experience, allows me to offer a deeply supportive and understanding approach to therapy.
Currently, I work within the mental health sector for a well-known mental health charity, further enriching my understanding of the complexities of mental health. I also volunteer for a sexual assault and domestic abuse service, where I provide crucial support to survivors.
I am a registered member of both the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and the National Counselling and Psychotherapy Society (NCPS), adhering to their ethical frameworks and committed to ongoing professional development. I am passionate about empowering individuals to overcome challenges, build resilience, and live fulfilling lives.
Let me walk alongside you in your journey towards recovery and resilience. Explore what I can offer you and take the first step towards a healthier, happier you.
